This summer, make berry tarts!

People get intimated by the unknown. If you don't know how easy (and fun) building a fruit tart is, you may never get that joy of putting the last piece of fruit and looking at your masterpiece with pride! 

Hopefully, this berry season will inspire you to have fun with fruit tarts. You can either buy pre-made pie shells, or you can make your own pie dough, roll it out, fill tart shell tins, bake and then fill with your favorite custard recipe, or even cheesecake filling (#yum).... 

Behind the Apron TIP: While it can be very pretty to place your berries in a circular pattern, you can choose to group like-berries together like in the above picture!

Anatomy of Easter Bunny (Butt) cupcakes

Easter Bunny cupcakes are adorable and easy to DIY. Follow these steps and you will have an adorable dessert at your Easter table. First thing's first, you need white, pink and green frosting! A grass tip or shredded coconut is necessary for the hole, or you could use Oreo crumb! Have fun with it!

Step 1:
Pipe grass in the form of a circle (using a grass tip)

Step 2:
Squeeze a blob for the body

Step 3:
Squeeze a smaller blob and drag towards the center

Step 4:
Repeat step 3 on opposite side

Step 5:
Pipe a smaller blob on center and dip in non-pareils

Step 6:
Pipe pink pads on feet

Behind the Apron Tip: 

Oreo buttercream is super easy to make at home. First, follow our favorite buttercream recipe. Then add your favorite cookies into a food processor. 

(Don't worry about pulverizing too many, 

you can use it as garnish!) 

Add cookie mixture into the finished buttercream and mix until combined and you're satisfied with the chocolate cookie flavor.
