The best Christmas Cupcakes of 2014

Cupcakes and Christmas should go hand in hand like cookies and Christmas. Granted, Santa's favorite gateaux dip better in milk, but cupcakes on a cake stand bring your Christmas table to the next level.

DYI: Halloween Pinata Cupcakes

Halloween is best because of all the tricks and treats. We especially love treats that trick! Take these cupcakes for example - Delicious cupcakes filled with candies and decorated like regular, spooktacular Halloween cupcakes!



How to make: 

1. Bake cupcakes according to recipe and let cool completely. 

2. Using a metal teaspoon, indent a circle and dig out the center of the cupcakes.

3. Fill with desired candies.

4. With a piping bag, frost as normal and decorate!

Trick or treat cupcakes are fun for Halloween parties or even gender reveal parties.

Golf Ball Cake Pop ALERT

Ahhh, the elusive golf ball cakepop. 

They are spectacular on all levels. 

The same can be said for the inspiration of these balls. Oncore Golf's ball has a hollow, metal core. These golf ball cake pops have a delicious vanilla cake core.

We went to a party this morning and made these mini funfetti beauties. Mini cupcakes are perfect for a party because they are so "pop-able". 

Whether you take a few bites or pop the whole thing in your mouth - the luck of the [buttercream] Irish shamrocks will surely bring you luck! 

Behind the Apron Tip: All you need to make a shamrock out of buttercream is a rose tip and some green frosting! Pipe three hearts (with the wide side of the tip down) - rotating after each heart. When you've finished, pull the icing down to create a stem.
