Cake Pop Lovin'

Behold the ever so popular cake pop.
Something super easy to make is a beautiful addition to your dessert table. The trick with these babies is that you mix your left over cake scraps with frosting. Roll them up and throw them in the freezer with a lollipop stick. Once they harden, dip them in melting chocolate. Get a little fancy with stripes or roll them in standing sugar.

We're loving the pink bows these cake pops snapped from a recent bridal show. #Pinkalicious!

"Eat Me" Cupcakes

Here's a tip:
When a cupcake tells you to eat it, you oblige!
Pink buttercream frosting is always playful and fun route for a shower. Whether you are celebrating the birth of a baby or showering a bride-to-be, using Nilla Wafers is a great and easy way to pull in an "Alice In Wonderland" dessert table theme.

#wordstoliveby (Home Economics Edition)

I recently found these words in an old Home Economics notebook from the mid 1960s. It resonates now as much as it did back then:

"The type of home you will have depends entirely upon the ideals and standards you have developed and your ability to build  and provide a suitable one for satisfactory and happy life."

Bunny Munch Easter "Martini"

Using martini glasses to hold candies is a great way to add dimension to any holiday soiree. Take this Bunny Munch Easter "Martini" as an example:

Mixed with jelly beans, mini pretzels and chocolate eggs, it is a nice combination for your guests to munch on during the Easter egg hunt!

Behind the Apron Tip: A mix like this is also a fun gift in a mini mason jar and pastel ribbon. :)

Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes!

One road to our hearts is most definitely sprinkled with chocolate chip cookies. Add chocolate chip cookie dough filling and cream cheese frosting to chocolate cupcakes, and you've got yourself a supreme cupcake! The cupcake market in Buffalo is certainly on the rise!
