Behind the Apron RECIPE: Heat Wave Cool Down!
If you're looking for a nice frosty treat to help you off during these hot hot days of summer, try freezing a couple of bananas and mixing them with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter in a blender. Put it in the freezer to thicken back up before eating!
The result is a monkey-licious healthy substitute for your ice cream fix!!

Now that's an herb garden!!
We were recently at the beautiful Botanical Gardens in South Buffalo. The herb garden was beyond major!
The summer rains have been great for our basil, sage and cilantro plants. But you cannot rely on Mother Nature's nurture to help them thrive! If you have an herb garden or any plants living in your domicile, consider this your friendly reminder to water them! :)
