Holiday Preview: Gingerbread Cupcakes

Sundays have always been a day where we take time to sit down with the family and have breakfast, or make a nice dinner at the end of the day. It's been a while since we've had Grandma Lola's gingerbread, so the smell of these baking in the oven brought back a flood of childhood memories for all of us. While we did not use the lemon glaze as she always did, we paired the cakes with homemade lemon cream cheese frosting and some holiday cheer.
